This Egyptian block sculpture from Karnak Temple is displayed at the Library of Alexandria, Egypt. It is the likeness of Nessor Amon, Priest of Monto, the god of Thebes. Karnak Temple was probably the longest running temple complex in the world.
In front of Nessor stands Osiris, Egyptian king of the dead and resurrection as a mummy.
